Village Court Apartments Associates, L.P., is a limited partnership with Creating Affordable Housing, Inc. as the general partner and Peoples Bank and A.C.N.B. Corporation as the limited partners. This partnership was formed in 2002 for the purpose of developing Village Court Apartments as a community affordable for low- and moderate-income families. York Housing Authority serves as the Management Agent for this community.
The development is located seven miles north of York in Dover Township, York County. Specifically, it is west of Carlisle Avenue (Route 74) off of Oakland Road.
Village Court consists of 60 townhome units for families, 46 of which have two (2) bedrooms (1,100 sq. feet) and 20 of which will have three (3) bedrooms (1,330 sq. feet). Some townhomes are one story construction for families with a member of the household requiring physical accommodations. The development includes a large community building with on site management. Other amenities include one and one-half baths, off-street parking, 24 hour emergency maintenance, supportive services, and community room with computer lab. Village Court Apartments is a smoke free development (no smoking in units or within 25 feet of a building) and also pet free.
